Most recently, we have been focusing our efforts on introducing strategically oriented private equity groups to manufacturers and industrial distributors within Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, assisting as needed to facilitate their acquisition. We do this on a non-retained basis. We also conduct retained acquisition searches both regionally and nationally, primarily within the industrial market.

Seller Representation

After an objective assessment of a seller’s situation, we will properly position the client for sale. Our preference is to conduct a competitive but discrete selling process involving carefully selected industry buyers and strategically focused investment groups seeking to capture synergy with one or more of their existing holdings. This targeted approach is designed to maximize seller proceeds while minimizing unnecessary exposure to third parties.

Consulting

Engagements typically involve ownership issues. Most often, they start with a “real world” assessment of the company’s market value and objective analysis of the owner’s strategic options. Should there be multiple owners with divergent goals, we will endeavor to provide workable solutions that preserve the operational and financial integrity of the company. Leveraging our years of experience, we will always offer to act as a sounding board and assist as needed to overcome the challenges at hand.
