Prior to entering investment banking in 1986, Nick was President of Metal Blast, Inc., a leading producer of metal abrasives sold to the foundry industry. Its customers included such major manufacturers as Ford, General Motors, International Harvester, and Kohler Corp. Previously, he was President of Merrymaid Plastics Corp., an injection molder of proprietary houseware and hardware products sold to major consumer products companies, including Procter & Gamble, Sears, and Ace Hardware. In addition, he successfully engineered three startups, two turnarounds, and the sale of four companies in which he had an ownership interest.

Nick is a former Marine Corps infantry officer and a founding member and two-term President of IMAP, International M&A Partners, a global organization with members in more than 40 countries.
